Kit Green's had a rather wild love life on Coronation Street - but in real life, actor Jacob Roberts is loved-up with his partner he met on the ITV soap.
The actor joined the show in 2024 as bent copper Kit, who was Bernie Winter's (Jane Hazlegrove) estranged son - and it didn't take him long to become involved in some big soap moments.
From finding out he has a secret son, Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey), to being left for dead after getting stabbed, Kit's time in Weatherfield has not been short of drama, reports the Mirror.
On-screen romances vs real life
The cobbles lothario has had his fair share of romances on the cobbles too, including a fling with Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) before finding love with Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien).
In real life though, actor Jacob's love life isn't quite as wild as his Weatherfield alter-ego. In October 2025, Jacob made his relationship with his new girlfriend official on Instagram, whom he met on the ITV soap: Coronation Street's publicity manager Caitlin Connolly.
Talking about their romance at the time, a source told The Sun: “They’ve been together for a while now, it’s very sweet. They seem besotted with each other and it’s been an open secret they’re an item for quite a while.”
Life away from the cobbles
Since then, the couple have gone from strength to strength. Jacob and Caitlin often share insights into their life together away from the cobbles, from gorgeous night's out to stunning holiday photos.
In a recent post on Instagram, Jacob shared an insight into their recent trip to America. Sharing a selection of photos from their time away, the actor added: "US" as the caption. The carousel of photos featured an adorable selfie of the couple, an aesthetic photo of Jacob walking down a street as well as a picture of their impressive-looking meal to share.
Taking to the comments, Coronation Street's Catherine Tyldesley - who plays Eva Price - said: "Looks AMAZING!!!!" The actress also commented on Caitlin's post and said: "I need a full breakdown and photo album when you get back please guys!!! So jel!!!! Enjoy kids!"
Previous relationship
Jacob's romance with Caitlin came after he split with his ex, PR Amy Harris after five years together. The soap star fuelled separation speculation in 2024 by erasing all traces of Amy from his Instagram grid, a move that Amy mirrored in October that same year - seemingly confirming their split.
