Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd has become a father for the fourth time after welcoming a baby girl with his wife Hanni Treweek. The 38-year-old, who has played David Platt on the ITV soap since 2000, announced the birth on Instagram on Sunday.
The couple revealed their daughter, Constance Ita Shepherd, was born at home on Friday. In a joint post, they wrote: 'Our beautiful baby girl has arrived, born peacefully at home, surrounded by love.' Jack already has three children from a previous relationship.
Jack and Hanni, who works behind the scenes on the soap, married in July 2025 in Manchester after getting engaged on safari a year earlier. They announced they were expecting their first child together in February.
Several of Jack's co-stars congratulated the couple, including Paddy Bever, Sally Dynevor, Samia Longchambon, and Georgia Taylor. Fans also shared their well-wishes, with one commenting: 'Congratulations to you both - what a gorgeous name.'
