Coronation Street star Cait Fitton has been flooded with compliments after she was seen debuting a new look, which left her looking worlds away from her on-screen alter ego.
A New Look for the Soap Star
Those who follow the ITV soap, which is filmed in Salford, will know the actress, from Middleton, for playing Lauren Bolton. She made her debut back in late 2022, when Lauren arrived in Weatherfield with her evil dad, Reece Bolton, who was a member of Griff Reynolds' far-right gang.
Then, months after being involved in Max Turner's far-right storyline, she was thrown in turmoil as her alter-ego was abused by solicitor Joel Deering. She later gave birth to his son, Frankie, who was given the devastating diagnosis of aplastic anaemia, all before she was charged with the murder of Joel, before being cleared by a jury.
Life on the Cobbles and Beyond
Lauren has since had a quieter life on the cobbles, landing a job as a barmaid at the Rovers Return, becoming besties with Betsy Swain, and striking up an on-off romance with Ollie Driscoll.
But away from her Corrie role, Cait can often be seen sharing updates from her personal life on social media, as well as insights into her career as a soap star. This time, however, the 24-year-old was showcasing her new look after she headed to the hairdressers for a bit of a transformation.
Fans React to the Transformation
In a video posted to her Instagram Story and TikTok, Cait could be seen in her car, where she was seen mouthing words from the Olivia Dean track, Lady Lady, into the camera as the clip transitioned to show her going from bleach blonde locks to sporting more ash-toned tresses.
"Decided to go back to my natural roots... (literally)" Cait wrote across the Instagram video while she captioned the TikTok post: "Going back to my natural roots …. Literally." And it didn't take long for the compliments to come flooding in.
One fan said: "It looks absolutely gorgeous Cait!" Another commented: "Oooooooo beautiful. Suits you." A third echoed: "Omg it suits you so well!!!" Another fan gushed: "Ahhh, Cait I love it!!!" A fifth added: "Cait!! it looks absolutely gorgeous. I'm in love!!!"
