Coronation Street Star Michael Le Vell Celebrates 60th Birthday with Fiancée Louise Gibbons

Coronation Street actor Michael Le Vell, known for playing Kevin Webster, marked his 60th birthday at a pub in Manchester on Sunday, accompanied by his rarely seen fiancée Louise Gibbons. The couple, who began dating in 2014, were photographed laughing and enjoying drinks as Le Vell celebrated the milestone.

Le Vell, whose real name is Michael Turner, proposed to Gibbons in secret several years ago. Reports from 2017 suggested the pair were planning a low-key wedding. The proposal came after Gibbons supported him through his struggles with alcohol and drug misuse following his acquittal on sex abuse charges in 2013.

The couple briefly split in May 2018 after a series of reported rows, with a source telling the Mirror at the time that Le Vell needed time to “sort his life out.” However, five years later, they appear to have reconciled, and Gibbons was seen wearing her engagement ring during the birthday outing.

Le Vell faced a highly publicised legal battle after being charged with 19 offences in 2013. He pleaded not guilty and was acquitted on all counts in September 2013. He returned to his role on Coronation Street in March 2014.
