Coronation Street fans are convinced a twist is on the horizon after Tina O'Brien, who plays Sarah Platt, shared a fresh update following the revelation that her character killed Theo Silverton. The actress took to social media on Tuesday (June 23) with behind-the-scenes snaps and teased that the storyline is far from over.
The Murder Reveal
During Monday's (June 22) episode of the ITV soap, it was confirmed that Sarah was the one who struck Theo on the head, causing him to fall from scaffolding outside his and Todd Grimshaw's flat. The flashback showed Sarah receiving a suspicious text from Todd's phone and heading to the flat, where she was confronted by a drunken Theo. He taunted her about the son she and Todd lost 21 years ago, and when he threatened violence, Sarah grabbed a metal pipe and hit him, sending him crashing to the ground.
After the murder, Sarah called Gary Windass for help, but he later struggled with the secret and stormed out of a dinner party, admitting he couldn't cover the truth anymore.
