Corrie fans predict Kirk will uncover Jodie Ramsey's truth

Coronation Street fans think they have identified who will discover the truth about Jodie Ramsey, as viewers remain desperate to understand the character's intentions. In recent months, Jodie, played by Olivia Frances Brown, has made herself at home at No. 8 Coronation Street after being revealed as the long-lost sister of Shona Platt.

Jodie debuted during Corrie's history-making crossover with Emmerdale in January, where she was seen tied up in a van driven by Dales returnee Graham Foster during a horror multi-vehicle pile-up. While uninjured in the crash, she escaped and was chased by DC Kit Green, running into a tree and requiring hospital treatment. After meeting Shona in hospital, Jodie has made multiple attempts to disrupt Shona's relationship with husband David Platt, and has targeted other Weatherfield residents, including Sarah Platt.

Sarah was hit over the head and left unconscious by Jodie, an attack viewers now know occurred after Sarah killed Theo Silverton, ending 13 months of terror he brought to her best friend Todd Grimshaw. During Tuesday's episode (June 30), Sarah confronted Jodie, who let slip she heard David the dog barking at the time of the attack. DS Lisa Connor-Swain also arrived with fresh questions. Sarah insisted the attack happened at 9:10pm, but Jodie corrected her, saying it was 9:30pm, indirectly admitting her role. Sarah challenged Jodie about a trinket box she was looking at during the attack, but they were interrupted by David Platt, angry that the gate was left open and the dog had escaped.

David's suspicions grow

In Wednesday's episode (July 1), David became suspicious of the two women after concerns about Sarah's behavior since the attack. He visited Sarah at Underworld, leading fans to speculate that Kirk Sutherland might be the one to figure out Jodie. @Audz32129841 tweeted: "At this rate, Kirk's going to be the one to suss out Jodie #Corrie," adding: "Can Kirk be the one to piece it altogether who killed Theo and what everyone was up to that night #Corrie." @JenWagn70811332 responded: "I would love for that to happen."
