Coronation Street Fans Predict Jodie Ramsey and Sarah Platt Future
Corrie Fans Predict Jodie Ramsey and Sarah Platt Future

Coronation Street fans believe they have foreseen the future for Jodie Ramsey and Sarah Platt, as the pair are set to arouse suspicion among their loved ones while concealing major secrets. Sarah is currently grappling with internal turmoil, hiding her responsibility for the death of builder Theo Silverton. His body was discovered by a horrified Betsy Swain on the night of her mother Lisa Swain's wedding to Carla Connor, following flashforward scenes in February that showed the teen being interviewed by police after finding a corpse.

Murder Investigation Intensifies

A week after the wedding aired, Theo was revealed as the victim, having attempted to torment Todd one last time. His death triggered a murder investigation, with Corrie confirming Todd, George Shuttleworth, Summer Spellman, Christina Boyd, Gary Windass, and Danielle Silverton as suspects. However, during a dramatic visit to Weatherfield, viewers learned that Sarah was actually responsible for Theo's death, as flashbacks showed the night in question. Sarah appeared to have an alibi, having been unexpectedly knocked unconscious by Jodie.

Jodie's Slip and Confrontation

Sarah was recently intrigued by Jodie's comments about the night of the attack, as Jodie let slip that she heard David the dog barking at the Platt house at the time. During Tuesday's (June 30) visit to Weatherfield, Sarah confronted her brother's sister-in-law but was interrupted by DS Lisa Connor-Swain, who had fresh questions. Inside No.8, Sarah insisted the attack occurred at 9:10pm, claiming she checked her phone. After Lisa left, Jodie pointed out the attack was actually at 9:30pm, admitting her role without a direct confession.

Trinket Box and David's Escape

Sarah also challenged Jodie about the trinket box she was looking at when she hit her over the head, but before answers could come, David Platt interrupted, angry that they had left the gate open, allowing David the dog to escape. With David becoming suspicious, fans have discussed potential outcomes. @matt_johnson_89 tweeted: "If they’re setting up a Sarah v Jodie feud then I’m totally here for it #Corrie." @agf1052 asked: "Are we about to get a blackmail-off between Sarah and Jodie?! #Corrie." @kerri___a commented: "The wait is almost over… This is going to be good… So excited for this! #corrie #swarla." @CavoloChe added: "Uh oh…Sarah and Jodie both are f*cked!
