Ryan found the teenager collapsed in their home last week and she was rushed to hospital. Doctors confirmed Betsy had suffered a stroke, later caused by a blood clot from neck artery damage due to strangulation during consensual sex with boyfriend Dylan Wilson.
Ryan steps in to explain
In Tuesday's episode, Ryan spoke to Dylan at the hospital, calmly explaining the cause of Betsy's strokes. He said: "I'm not having a go. It was both of you, I get it. I've been in a couple of situations myself where it was… It's just a bit of a kink, isn't it?" He admitted he didn't know the damage that could be caused.
