Coronation Street fans believe they know the big secret Jodie Ramsey is hiding, and it isn't just her suspicious trinket box, which has once again been discovered by Lily Platt.
Jodie's Arrival and Suspicious Behavior
As viewers of the ITV soap recall, Jodie was revealed to be Shona Platt's long-lost sister earlier this year. She was first seen tied up in the back of a van driven by Emmerdale returnee Graham Foster during a horror multi-vehicle pile-up in January. After escaping, she ended up in hospital, where she came face-to-face with her older sibling. Since then, she has made herself comfortable at No.8 Coronation Street but has also made multiple attempts to get between her sister's relationship with her husband, David Platt.
The Trinket Box and Gun Discovery
Viewers have seen that Jodie holds onto a trinket box containing items she has taken from those she knows. She discovered a gun that Carl Webster wielded during a stand-off at the garage with his uncle, Kevin Webster, and appeared delighted as she took it home. During Sunday's (July 27) edition of Corrie, it was revealed that Jodie still has the weapon.
Visiting his sister Sarah in prison after her arrest for the murder of Theo Silverton, David was told by her that she believed Jodie had hit her over the head on the night of Theo's murder to stop her seeing what was in the box. Back at the house, a furious Shona confronted Jodie, who tried to wriggle out of what happened to Sarah. Shona ordered her to leave but later worried about her sibling. Meanwhile, David's daughter Lily, searching for her confiscated gaming console, stumbled upon Jodie's trinket box and discovered the gun.
