Corrie fans fear Jodie Ramsey's gun plot is bad news for Shona

Coronation Street fans have been left with the same question when it comes to Jodie Ramsey after one of her recent moves left them fearing the worst – and it could be bad news for Shona Platt if their theories are correct.

Jodie Ramsey's arrival and unsettling behavior

As those who follow the ITV soap know, in recent months, the character has made herself comfortable at No.8 Coronation Street after she was revealed to be Shona Platt's long-lost sister. She was first seen tied up in the back of a van being driven by Emmerdale returnee Graham Foster during a horror multi-vehicle pile-up that happened in January. After escaping, she ended up in the hospital, which is where she came back face-to-face with her older sibling.

As viewers have seen, she has made multiple attempts to get between her sister's relationship with her husband, David Platt, but she's also seemingly made other Weatherfield residents targets of her unusual games.

The gun discovery and fan theories

But it was earlier this month that Jodie discovered a gun, which Carl Webster had wielded during a stand-off at the garage with his uncle, Kevin Webster, and appeared to be delighted as she immediately took it home. Meanwhile, Fiona found Carl at the Chariot Square, where both Debbie Webster and Ronnie Bailey learned that the gun was missing and they were all at risk if it was not returned. Jodie, meanwhile, was seen heading back to No.8 where she was confronted by David, who was waving around a bag of David the dog's poo.

It left Corrie fans fearing what Jodie could do now she has a gun in her hands, with one even saying: "So what's Jodie planning on doing with the gun then? Is she gonna use it on David if he doesn't sleep with her #Corrie."

Recent episodes and ongoing questions

We're now a couple of weeks down the line, and with Jodie almost seen slipping up to Sarah Platt over her attack on the night Theo Silverton was murdered, Corrie fans have been left questioning Jodie's intentions with the gun, which hasn't been mentioned since.

@RyanSoapKing25 asked: "Why did Jodie randomly take that gun and what did she do with it? I don't get where they're going with her at all. #Corrie." @Wee_Westie29 replied: "Maybe she's gonna frame Shona for something so she can have David. #Corrie." @sam_Fletcher78 echoed: "I wonder if she will rob somewhere and dress up as Shona to frame her for it #corrie."

@Momrocks50 added: "She is obsessed with David want him off Shona and think she would go to extreme of holding him at gun point." @Bo88797665 added: "What is Jodie gonna do with the gun, plant it there at the flat for what reason. Is it to get David or to later use in her own sister? #corrie."
