Coronation Street actor Gareth Pierce, who plays Todd Grimshaw, has admitted he would like a role in Death in Paradise. The 45-year-old, who has portrayed Todd since 2020, recently wrapped up a harrowing domestic abuse storyline involving his character's husband Theo Silverton.

Beyond the ITV soap, Pierce is happily married to Amy Lee Pierce, whom he wed in 2014, and they live in Manchester with their 10-year-old daughter. His previous TV credits include Caerdydd (2006-2010), Stella (2013-2014) as Lenny Mack, Ordinary Lies (2016), Mr Selfridge (2016), and The Archers (2019-2024). He also narrated all 11 instalments of Doctor Who: The Doctors Revisited.
Death in Paradise Aspirations
Speaking to the Mirror, Pierce joked about his next whodunnit: "I love Manchester, it's incredibly vibrant, the people are amazing and have truly welcomed us with open arms. But it does rain quite a lot." He added: "I haven't done Death in Paradise, but my friends have. They take you out there for a lot longer than you're actually filming, so you get to explore Guadeloupe and go on boats and things."
