Cassie Plummer tells Tim how Steve dumped her and Tyrone threw her out, and soon she decides to leave Weatherfield. Announcing she has a job on a cruise ship, she says her goodbyes to Hope, Ruby and Dorin. Fiz gives her a photo of the family, while Cassie asks to meet with Steve.
When she gets to the precinct, Ross pulls up and offers her a lift. As he locks the doors and speeds off, is Cassie in danger? Ross plans to move nearby, and Fiz has her eye on him. Steve asks Ross where he dropped Cassie off.
As Ross feigns ignorance, he is forced to change his story when Steve reveals he saw Cassie get into his car. So why is he lying about being the last person to see Cassie, and what happened in the car? Has Ross done something to Cassie, and does Fiz have every right to be worried about Ross?
Sienna's secret and Dylan's attack
Debbie offers to help a woman named Sadie, who is revealed to be Sienna's mum. As Sadie lashes out, Sienna rejects Asha's offer of help. Later, Asha and Sienna discuss her mum's dementia. Betsy tells Ryan she wants to speak with Dylan but she fears her mum Lisa's reaction.
Ryan summons Dylan, but as Betsy tries to reassure him that she doesn't blame him for her stroke, Lisa interrupts them. Lauren is horrified that Dylan visited, as Betsy continues to struggle with her words. Lauren insists Dylan must be held accountable, and Brody warns Dylan to stay away from Betsy. Dylan slams Brody and the pair clash, as Nina intervenes.
Later, Nina finds Dylan unconscious and he is rushed to hospital. When Dylan returns home, he thanks Nina for helping him while Sean accuses Brody of being the attacker. Betsy and Lauren argue over Dylan, leading to Lauren storming out and leaving Betsy alone. When Lauren returns, Carla berates her for abandoning a tearful Betsy, as Betsy has wet herself.

Kit tells Bethany about Gary's involvement in Theo's murder, blaming him for Sarah not going to the police at the time. Tim bumps into his cousin Richie and asks him round for a drink. As Richie confides in Tim about his unhappy marriage, Tim offers him a place to stay for the night.
