Coronation Street: Megan's Death 'Sealed' as Fans Suspect Will

Coronation Street's Megan Walsh may be facing her end, as fans are convinced that her death is 'sealed'—and the killer is not who you might expect. The twisted athletics coach, played by Beth Nixon, has been a source of turmoil on the cobbles since her arrival earlier this year.

Megan's Dark Secret Unveiled

Megan made her debut as the coach of 16-year-old Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale), who moved from Hull to Weatherfield with his family. However, it soon emerged that Megan had been secretly grooming Will for months before his move. The situation escalated when it was revealed she was pregnant with his child, and the pair planned to run away together.

The truth eventually came out, leading Will to report Megan to the police, resulting in her arrest. Since then, Megan has shown no remorse, even attempting to manipulate Will by getting her mother, Janine Walsh (Melissa Jaques), to talk him into changing his story.

The Trial and a Shocking Twist

This week, the trial began, with lawyer Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) representing Megan. During questioning, Will faltered after making eye contact with Megan, panicking about sending her to prison. He claimed he had lied about their relationship. However, in Thursday's episode (July 2), a brave Will took the stand again and told the truth about Megan's sick crimes, hoping to convince the jury. Megan was furious.

Later, back in Weatherfield, Megan confronted Will while he was out on a run. She insisted the jury would find her not guilty and warned him to 'watch his back'.

Fans Predict Will as the Killer

But now, viewers believe it is Megan who needs to watch her back, as they are convinced Will will kill her. On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one person wrote: 'Anyone else think Will could kill Megan?' Another added: 'That would be the ideal ending tbh.' A third commented: 'She's a nasty piece of work and needs to be killed off.' One fan penned: 'Hopefully she gets sent down but Will killing her would be satisfying as well.'

Coronation Street airs Monday to Friday at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
