Conor Maynard Shares Agonising Health Scare Video

Singer Conor Maynard has revealed a serious back injury left him 'screaming in pain' and requiring hospital treatment. The 32-year-old, known for his hit 'Can't Say No', broke his silence on Instagram after months of reduced activity on social media.

Maynard posted images of himself on a stretcher and with a cannula in his arm, explaining that a bulging disc between his L5 and S1 vertebrae had caused intense nerve pain. Despite chiropractic treatment and epidural steroid injections, his condition worsened.

The ordeal escalated last weekend when a coughing fit triggered excruciating pain shooting through his lower back and down his right leg. 'It completely made my legs buckle,' he wrote. Unable to find relief, he began screaming and lost colour in his face, prompting his girlfriend to call an ambulance.

Maynard said the injury has affected his life 'in so many ways', from caring for his new puppy to filming content. Holding a camera had become 'nearly impossible', and he has been unable to enjoy hobbies like football and padel. He noted that surgery now appears to be the only option.

The update comes after Maynard was previously embroiled in a paternity dispute with The Traitors star Charlotte Chiltern, which was resolved by a negative DNA test. He thanked his 2.8 million followers for their support and expressed hope to return to music soon.
