Coleen Rooney's friends have reportedly called her husband Wayne an 'idiot' after he was seen at a pre-BRITS party in Manchester with two women. The 39-year-old I'm A Celebrity star was spotted without her wedding ring while running errands in Cheshire on Monday, looking glum.
Wayne, a football pundit and former England star, was allegedly 'worse for wear' as he chatted and drank with the women into the early hours. Photos obtained by The Sun show him leaving the venue with one woman at around 3.25am, before both got into separate cars.
The incident comes at a critical time for Coleen, who is about to launch her first clothing range with Primark. She is said to be hosting an event in Mayfair on Thursday to celebrate the collection. A source close to her claimed: 'Coleen has worked so hard on this Primark range, it's massive for her. So for Wayne to act like such an idiot just days before her big moment is irritating.'
This is not the first time Coleen has faced such issues. She has previously dealt with several high-profile alleged cheating scandals involving Wayne. In a 2023 Amazon Prime documentary, she admitted she stayed in the marriage for the sake of their four sons. She said: 'When you're making those decisions you've got to focus on what you want... There's nothing that we can't deal with.'
Wayne has previously credited his wife with 'saving' him from alcohol, saying he would 'be dead' without her. The couple share four sons together.
