Coleen Rooney Shares Success Secrets at Manchester Women's Day Event

Coleen Rooney has revealed that being 'organised' is the key to her success, as she spoke at a lunch event celebrating International Women's Day in Manchester. The wife of former England striker Wayne Rooney was one of the guests of honour at the Julie Perry Events celebration, joined by other football WAGs including Kaya Jones, Hayley Fletcher, and Kim Hart.

During a Q&A session with TV and radio presenter Sheree Murphy, the 37-year-old mother of four discussed how she balances her public life with being a working mum. 'I try to be as organised as possible and plan ahead. I take my diary everywhere and I am constantly noting stuff down and planning weeks, sometimes months in advance,' she said.

Coleen also shared insights into her recent Disney+ documentary 'Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story' and her autobiography 'My Account'. She acknowledged that despite her planning, 'not everything always goes to plan and some days are crazy and very hectic. But that's just life and I always try to stay positive and everything always seems to work out in the end!'

Event host Julie Perry, who planned Coleen's wedding to Wayne, said: 'I am so pleased to be able to bring so many inspirational women together in celebration of each other. It is so important to me to champion other women and their careers.'
