Coleen Rooney and Annie Kilner have reportedly formed a supportive 'pact' as both women navigate the fallout from their husbands' infidelities, according to sources. Rooney, known for being selective about her inner circle, has welcomed Kilner as a trusted friend.
Kilner, 33, married to footballer Kyle Walker, is currently expecting their fifth child and has faced public humiliation over Walker's affairs, including with reality star Lauryn Goodman. Rooney, 40, has similarly endured her husband Wayne's cheating allegations throughout their 17-year marriage, most recently after he was seen partying with two women at a Manchester hotel in February.
The bond between the two women was evident at Rooney's recent 40th birthday party at her £20 million Cheshire home, where Kilner joined a tight clique of WAGs including Abbey Clancy and Tanya Bardsley. The event came less than two months after Wayne's latest public embarrassment.
A source said: 'Both their partners have strayed and obviously Annie's had very public infidelities to deal with. Coleen can sympathise. They are kind of on the same wavelength.' The source added that the pair have pledged to support one another through their respective turmoil.
Despite the challenges, Rooney and Wayne are said to be in 'a very good place', with Wayne putting significant effort into the birthday bash. Rooney is focusing on television projects, while Kilner and Walker called off divorce proceedings last year after Walker admitted making 'idiot choices'.
