Coleen Nolan Announces Divorce from Husband After 10-Year Marriage

Coleen Nolan, the Loose Women panellist and Mirror agony aunt, has announced she is divorcing her husband Ray Fensome after 10 years of marriage. The 52-year-old described the past year as 'hellish' and said there is 'too much dividing' them.

In her column, Nolan wrote: 'Once you know your marriage is truly dead you need to make your peace with that, bury the past and move on. After 17 years together that’s what I’m about to do.' The couple, who have a 16-year-old daughter Ciara, had been together for 17 years and married in 2007.

Nolan, who found fame with family pop group The Nolans, admitted she had fought for the marriage 'with every fibre of my being' but now accepts it is over. She previously spoke about marital difficulties while in the Celebrity Big Brother house in January 2017, which she went on to win.

The mother of three, who has sons Shane Jnr, 29, and Jake, 25, from her previous marriage to EastEnders actor Shane Richie, praised her children for their support. She said: 'My beautiful kids have all been unbelievably supportive and understanding. I want to show marriages can break down without families breaking down. So long as you’re honest.'
