Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan has introduced her new boyfriend Michael Jones, revealing the couple met on the dating app Tinder. The 56-year-old TV personality exclusively shared details of their romance with OK! magazine, describing an instant connection.
Coleen, who is mother to Shane Jr, 33, Jake, 29, and Ciara, 21, from previous relationships, said she and Michael discuss marriage 'all the time', with Michael describing it as 'inevitable'. The couple met seven months ago but have not yet moved in together, with Coleen admitting she sometimes gets 'palpitations' at the thought.
Michael, 57, recognised Coleen from The Nolans and Loose Women. He said: 'It was a bit of a dilemma. You think, “Am I just swiping because I recognise her?”' He added that once he swiped, they matched immediately, meaning Coleen had already liked him.
Coleen revealed that fellow Loose Women panellist Brenda Edwards helped set them up by swapping phones to find dates. Their first date was at a pub, where they met at 5pm and were still chatting after 11pm. Coleen said: 'I knew I really liked him. The kids had been texting me saying, “Are you still alive?”'
Michael has a 20-year-old son named Nico from a previous relationship. The couple's romance continues to blossom, with Coleen describing their bond as strong.
