Claudia Winkleman should set her sights on Hollywood after her BBC talk show was axed, according to an expert. The star is booked and busy with The Traitors, The Piano and other appearances.
But earlier this year it was announced that her talk show, which lasted for one series, has officially ended. The Claudia Winkleman Show saw her interview celebrity guests in front of a studio audience.
Announcing her decision, Claudia, 54, said: “I’m incredibly grateful to the BBC for giving me the opportunity, to the guests who agreed to come and chat to me, and the production team who were simply excellent. Sometimes you have to try something to see how it fits, and I realised I was just too nervous to enjoy it. Maybe one day I will give it another try, but for now I already have the best jobs in the world and absolutely love the shows I’m doing.”
Expert Says Hollywood Beckons
But one expert says when one door closes, another opens. Speaking exclusively to online bingo caller tool Slingo, celebrity PR specialist Kayley Cornelius spoke about what Claudia should do next, and said: "Claudia Winkleman has reached a point in her career where she doesn’t need to prove herself in the UK anymore."
