Fans of Clarkson's Farm have been captivated by the latest dramatic season, but many are wondering where Diddly Squat Farm is actually located. The farm, owned by former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson, is situated in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in West Oxfordshire, England. It is a short drive from the market town of Chipping Norton to the north and the village of Chadlington to the south. The nearest major city is Oxford, approximately 50 minutes away by car, while London is about a two-hour drive.
How to Get to Diddly Squat Farm
For those using public transport, the easiest route from London is via the Great Western Railway from Paddington station to Charlbury. From there, a 20-minute bus ride on the X9 service runs past the Diddly Squat Farm Shop, managed by Jeremy's partner Lisa Hogan. Travelers from Birmingham can take the Cross Country train to Worcestershire Parkway, then transfer to the GWR to Charlbury and the X9 bus, with the total journey taking around two and a half hours.
The Farmer's Dog Pub
In addition to the farm, Jeremy also owns the iconic pub The Farmer's Dog, which serves Diddly Squat's own Hawkstone lager. The pub is located about a half-hour drive from the farm, near the Asthall Barrow roundabout on the A40, a few miles from the town of Burford. Visitors can also reach the pub via public transport: from the farm shop, take the X9 bus back past Charlbury to Witney (about 40 minutes), then the 234 bus to Burford, followed by a short walk to the pub. The entire journey takes just over an hour.
Season 5 and Health Challenges
Season 5 of Clarkson's Farm premiered on Prime Video this year, featuring Jeremy facing numerous farming challenges while also dealing with personal health issues. The season opened with his emergency heart surgery in October 2024 and concluded with the announcement that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. According to reports, his cancer is now in remission, and filming for Season 6 is underway, with an expected release next summer.
Visiting Diddly Squat
Fans can visit both the farm and The Farmer's Dog in the same day, though public transport options make the journey between them more time-consuming. The farm shop is a popular destination, and the pub offers a chance to sample Hawkstone lager. Clarkson's Farm is available to stream on Prime Video.
