Jeremy Clarkson Threatens to Quit Farming After Calf Manure Incident
Clarkson Threatens Quit Farming After Manure Incident

Jeremy Clarkson has threatened to abandon farming altogether after being drenched in cow manure — including getting some in his mouth. The former Top Gear presenter gets far more than he anticipated in one of the latest episodes of Clarkson's Farm, leaving him understandably appalled.

Clarkson's Farm Series 5

The broadcaster is back for a fifth series of his agricultural programme, with Kaleb Cooper once again on hand to guide him through the challenges of running his Diddly Squat farm in Oxfordshire. During one scene, Clarkson assists Kaleb with a castration procedure on a young calf, before matters take a decidedly unpleasant turn.

The Unpleasant Incident

As Clarkson attempts to reach behind the calf, the animal suddenly releases diarrhoea, splattering Clarkson's hands and the pliers he was gripping. "It's s**t all over me," he tells Kaleb, before discovering where else it has landed.

"You've got it on your nose and everything," Kaleb chuckles, as Clarkson cries out: "I'm covered in diarrhoea!" He yells: "A cow's s**t in my mouth!"

While Kaleb struggles to contain his amusement, the incident proves to be the final straw for Clarkson, who, still covered in excrement, threatens to walk away. "That's it, f**k it, I'm going to London. I'm done, I'm going to London in a Bentley," he jokes. "I'm going to see my friend who worked in advertising, law and the theatre."

Viewer Reactions

He pretends to storm off as Kaleb erupts into laughter, while Clarkson is left spitting out anything in his mouth. Viewers were howling at the incident, with one writing on X: "Clarkson's Farm - brilliant. I cried when @JeremyClarkson delivered a calf and laughed myself silly when one crapped on his face."

"So funny," another agreed, as a third said: "'A cow s**t in my mouth!' I haven't laughed so hard in ages, another fantastic episode, but my God, watching that calf being born was tense. Great work by @JeremyClarkson, we felt every moment of that birth."

Another laughed: "Clarkson getting cow s***e on his nose might be one of the funniest things I've seen on the tele." Yet another wrote: "I would like to thank @JeremyClarkson and #ClarksonsFarm for the best laugh I've had in quite a while, episode 5 ending absolutely hilarious," as someone else said: "Season 5 episode 5 of #ClarksonsFarm is by far the best in the entire series."

Clarkson's Farm is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
