Jeremy Clarkson has explained why emergency services were spotted at his Diddly Squat farm in Oxfordshire. On Saturday afternoon (October 3), the television host drove to the farm after clips surfaced on social media showing an ambulance had pulled up to the area.
Ambulance visit explained
Accompanied by his girlfriend, Irish model Lisa Hogan, they filmed their approach before posting it on Instagram. The ambulance's presence was not due to an accident or emergency, but rather a personal issue with the driver who needed to use a toilet.
Lisa, who filmed the encounter, said in the video: "Oh look, we have an ambulance here. We were really worried, so we pulled in and guess what they were doing, the ambulance. Were they saving people?"
Jeremy, who was driving the vehicle at the time, said: "No, they needed to use our lavatories." Lisa captioned the video: "Diddly Squat Farm Shop is providing vital services to all."
Health update
Jeremy recently disclosed a diagnosis of prostate cancer. The former Top Gear presenter said in the summer he was doing well, as he urged others to get checked out for cancer regardless of if they have symptoms or not.
He previously told his followers: "If you go to a doctor and they say they won't test you because you aren't displaying any symptoms, then just lie. Look, thousands of people die every year in the UK from prostate cancer. Don't be one of them, get tested."
"The doctors caught the prostate cancer early and they caught it early because I got tested. I know a lot of you will say 'I don't want to be tested' but it is just a blood test these days."
Speaking from a hospital bed at the end of the season finale of his reality programme Clarkson's Farm, Jeremy revealed he had experienced complications during treatment. He said: "We started season five with me in a hospital bed and here we are at the end of season five and I'm back in a hospital bed."
Series 6 is currently in production and is expected to premiere on Prime Video in summer 2027.
