Jeremy Clarkson and Piers Morgan have ended their infamous feud, with the pair now on friendly terms after years of animosity. The reconciliation is highlighted by Morgan's surprise appearance in the latest series of Clarkson's Farm, where Clarkson referred to him as a "dear friend" and sought advice on running a pub.
The feud began in 2002 when Morgan, then editor of the Daily Mirror, published photographs of Clarkson with a woman who was not his wife, despite Clarkson allegedly asking for them to be kept private. The incident caused significant personal fallout, with Clarkson's ex-wife and children hurt by the publication.
Tensions escalated further in 2003 when the pair were seated next to each other on Concorde's final commercial flight. Clarkson poured water on Morgan's crotch to make it appear he had wet himself. The following year, at the 2004 British Press Awards, Clarkson punched Morgan three times, breaking his own finger and leaving Morgan with a scar on his forehead.
The two eventually made amends in 2014 after a five-hour drinking session. In a recent episode of Clarkson's Farm (series four, episode five), Clarkson video-called Morgan to discuss the challenges of opening his new pub, The Farmer's Dog. Morgan offered advice on theft, noting that customers often steal items like salt pots and cutlery.
Reflecting on their past, Morgan joked about the scar during a Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? appearance hosted by Clarkson, quipping, "I can think of a million reasons why I shouldn't trust you, including this scar on my forehead." Clarkson responded by referencing his broken finger from the punch-up.
