Christine McGuinness has revealed that she shows her ex-husband Paddy McGuinness pictures of the women she is dating, three years after their split. The 38-year-old model and mother of three, who still lives with the former Top Gear star in their Cheshire home for the sake of their children, said their relationship remains amicable.
Speaking on the LGBTQ podcast 'It Started With A Kiss', Christine described herself as a 'five-star lesbian' and said she is 'looking for a wife'. She explained that she would like a celebration of love rather than a legal marriage, adding: 'I would love to just be saying, this is my wife.'
Christine, who has dated both men and women since her separation, admitted that she lives a 'double life', keeping her romantic and family lives separate. She said this has caused issues in past relationships, as partners eventually wanted to meet her children, but she has always been upfront about her situation.
On the podcast, she recalled a sexual encounter with a 'very beautiful woman', where she was the 'giver for the evening and morning'. She also insisted on using sex toys fresh out of the plastic, joking that she is a 'five-star lesbian' compared to a 'gold-star lesbian'.
Christine and Paddy, 52, split after 11 years of marriage but continue to co-parent their three children, who all have autism. Christine said they are rarely in the house at the same time but acknowledged it will 'take a while' before they live separately.
