The Dead to Me star, 52, disclosed that Sadie once asked her, "Would you rather me stab you in the back or in the front?" The question, though shocking, was a metaphor for the emotional toll of her illness. Applegate explained that her daughter was grappling with the unpredictability of MS and how it affects their lives.
Living with MS
Applegate was diagnosed with MS in 2021 and has since been candid about her journey. She described the disease as "a thief" that steals her independence and energy. The actress has been using a cane and recently attended the Emmys in a wheelchair, showing the physical challenges she faces daily.
