Christie Brinkley has shared a series of photographs from a friend's destination wedding, in which she and her youngest daughter Sailor Brinkley-Cook look almost identical. The 72-year-old supermodel posted the images on Instagram, showing the pair dressed up for the occasion at Ile de Bandor.
Christie wore a striped wrap dress with a pendant necklace, while Sailor, 28, chose a burnt orange gown with a plunging cowl neckline and a similar large pendant. Both wore their blonde hair down and struck matching poses, leading fans to comment on their striking resemblance. 'You and Sailor looked beautiful!!' one follower wrote.
In a recent interview with Social Life magazine, Christie reflected on the freedom that comes with age. 'You do what you wanna do when you wanna do it,' she said. 'I think that there's a freedom that comes with age, and that's quite wonderful.' She added that she has learned to appreciate the moment despite life's ups and downs.
Sailor, who also models, has spoken openly about her body image struggles. In May, after receiving criticism about her legs, she posted a video saying she had long been ashamed of her 'strong legs' but has since learned to embrace them. 'It's a waste of time to hate your body,' she concluded, encouraging others to wear what they like.
