Chris Hughes Breaks Silence on Katie Price Drama, Feels Sorry for Her
Chris Hughes on Katie Price: I Feel Sorry for Her

Chris Hughes, the former Love Island star who famously clashed with Katie Price years ago, has broken his silence on the ongoing drama surrounding the ex-glamour model and her husband Lee Andrews. Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, the 33-year-old admitted he finds the saga fascinating but feels sympathy for Katie.

Chris Hughes on Katie Price's Marriage Turmoil

Katie Price, 48, married Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews in January, her fourth marriage. However, the relationship has been turbulent, culminating in Lee's no-show on a planned Good Morning Britain appearance and his mysterious disappearance, leaving Katie without contact for days.

Chris, who is now in a happy relationship with American Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa, 23, after meeting on Celebrity Big Brother in 2025, shared his thoughts: "Oh, it's crazy. I'm sure it will probably be made into a Netflix documentary in years to come. It's so fascinating because of the way the news travels in stories like this, often via social media. It's like we're following it all in real time."

He added: "I do feel sorry for Katie though. It's not a nice situation for her, or anyone, to be in - I do sympathise with her. No, it's not nice at all."

Past Feud with Katie Price

The pair famously locked horns in 2017 after Chris alleged Katie sent him flirty messages behind his then-girlfriend Olivia Attwood's back. He shared screenshots, but Katie fired back, claiming she had 51 screenshots of his replies. They later buried the hatchet in 2018, becoming good friends after meeting at charity football matches. However, Katie reignited the feud last year after Chris's stint on Celebrity Big Brother.

Chris Hughes Backs JoyStroll Campaign

Away from the drama, Chris is supporting a campaign with JoyStroll, urging Brits to put down their phones and enjoy nature. He is hosting a Pure Gym JoyStroll launch event in Manchester this Thursday. "We're urging anyone to come down! We're all doom scrolling - apparently like 12k a month, and on our phones for too long, me included! But I also love getting outside and reaping the benefits of fresh air and exercise. I love walking - more than cycling, or running. It's a lovely thing to do, so if you're in the area, come get involved!"

PureGym's Joy Stroll movement encourages people across the UK to swap scrolling for movement, fresh air, and social connection. To register for the Manchester launch event, visit Eventbrite.
