Seven-year-old musician Miles Phillips has revealed the inspiration behind his viral hit Eastern Rosellas, which came from a holiday at Raymond Island. 'I was feeding the birds seed,' he said. 'There was pigeons, there was lorikeets, there was rosellas, but the main bird that stood out to me was the eastern rosella.'
Workshopping the Chorus
After that interaction, Miles and his father Joel began workshopping a chorus for what would become the song. The young star described the song's success as 'a bit strange and weird' but also 'really cool and great'.
