Cheryl Tweedy has posted rare photographs of her nine-year-old son Bear, sharing glimpses of their recent trip to Walt Disney World in Florida. The former Girls Aloud star, who usually keeps her son out of the public eye, took to Instagram to document the holiday.
In her post, Cheryl wrote: 'Somewhere in the corners of the world Magic still exists. I don’t know what took me so long to experience the joys of @waltdisneyworld but I completely escaped into my inner child for the last couple of weeks. What a wonderful place.' The post was met with an outpouring of support from fans.
Bear is the son of Cheryl and the late Liam Payne, who died in October 2024 at the age of 31 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death as polytrauma. The trip was also joined by Liam's sister Ruth Gibbins, her husband and their son, with Ruth describing the visit as 'bittersweet' given her brother's love for the resort.
Cheryl and Bear were spotted enjoying several attractions, including Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Mania! and the Floating Mountains of Pandora in Animal Kingdom, as well as watching Mickey Mouse perform. In all shared footage, Cheryl ensured Bear's face remained hidden to protect his privacy.
Fans commented on how much Bear has grown, with some noting similarities to his father. One wrote: 'Bear has grown so much! I'm glad you visited this magical place, so beloved by Liam.' Another observed: 'Wow Bear has grown and walking like his daddy.' The pair, who started dating after meeting on The X Factor, split in 2018.
