Prince Harry's Ex Chelsy Davy Shares Rare Photo with Husband for Anniversary
Chelsy Davy Marks Anniversary with Rare Family Photo

Prince Harry's former girlfriend Chelsy Davy has posted a rare photograph of her husband, Sam Cutmore-Scott, to celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary. The 40-year-old Zimbabwe-born entrepreneur, who had an on-off relationship with the Duke of Sussex for seven years from 2004, shared three sweet images on Instagram. She captioned the post: 'Four years, three kids, two very tired people. Happy anniversary Sam.'

Wedding and Growing Family

Chelsy and Sam tied the knot in a relaxed beach ceremony in Mauritius in 2022. Last month, they welcomed their third child, a son named Finn. One photo showed Sam holding newborn Finn as he napped, offering a rare glimpse into the couple's private family life. Another picture captured Chelsy, who runs her jewellery brand Aya, holding her husband's wrist, showcasing the sapphire engagement ring and wedding band she designed herself. The final image featured their older children, son Leo, four, and daughter Chloe, two, adoringly looking at their baby brother.

Background of the Couple

Sam Cutmore-Scott, an Eton-educated hotelier, was in the year above Harry at school. He is an Oxford graduate and the brother of Hollywood actor Jack Cutmore-Scott, known for roles in Christopher Nolan's Tenet and the TV series Deception. Sam serves as managing director at The Harper Hotel in Holt, the family business. The couple relocated to Mauritius after previously living between Chiswick and Norfolk. Mauritius holds special significance as the location of their wedding at the Paradis Beachcomber hotel.

Chelsy, known for guarding her privacy, announced the birth of daughter Chloe in September 2024 through a jewellery collection named after her. She revealed Finn's birth on Mother's Day, sharing photos of herself cradling him while his siblings looked on. In a heartfelt message, she described returning to 'those hazy newborn days' as a reminder of mothers' remarkable nature and added that running Aya while raising three children is a 'jungle' but one she has chosen.

Relationship with Prince Harry

Chelsy met Harry in London during their school years and began dating in 2004 during his gap year in Zimbabwe, where her father owns a game reserve. Their relationship became serious, with palace officials noting Harry called her 'wifey' and she called him 'hubby'. She attended royal events like Peter Phillips's wedding and Prince Charles's 60th birthday. However, conflicting careers and Harry's deployment to Afghanistan led to their split in 2010. Chelsy has since stayed largely out of the spotlight.

In 2020, she revealed she was in a serious relationship but did not name Sam at the time. Her previous known boyfriend was television producer James Marshall, from whom she split in 2018.
