Charlize Theron Brings Daughters to Rare Public Appearance at The Odyssey Premiere

Charlize Theron made a rare public outing with her two daughters, Jackson, 14, and August, 12, at the New York premiere of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey earlier this week. The Oscar-winning actress, who plays Calypso in the Trojan War epic, was accompanied by her teenagers as they arrived at the event, though she walked the red carpet alone.

Theron, 50, wore a chic Christian Dior ivory blazer dress with a plunging neckline and statement bow, styling her blonde bob in a wet look and accessorising with a chunky gold choker. Her daughters both dressed in black, with August pairing her dress with combat boots and knee-high socks. Theron adopted Jackson in 2012 and August in 2015, and has previously said that adoption was always her first choice for starting a family.

Matt Damon also brought his wife, Luciana, and their 20-year-old daughter Isabella to the premiere, both of whom are rarely seen in public. The trio posed for photos on the red carpet, with Damon in a blue suit and polka dot tie, Luciana in a white slip dress, and Isabella in a monochrome floral dress. Damon adopted Luciana's daughter Alexia from a previous relationship after they married in 2005, and the couple have three other daughters together.

Other cast members at the event included Zendaya, who wore a white Matières Fécale gown with feathery angel wings and over 30 carats of Chopard jewellery, and Tom Holland, who wore a black suit and plain tee. The couple, who recently confirmed they are married, did not pose together but joined the cast for a group shot. Elliot Page also attended with his girlfriend Julia Shiplett, marking a rare public appearance for the couple.
