Charlie Ireland, known as 'Cheerful Charlie' on Clarkson's Farm, has become a fan favourite despite often delivering bad news to Jeremy Clarkson. In the latest series, he revealed Diddly Squat Farm's first loss due to poor weather and disappointing crops.
Personal Life
Away from the cameras, Charlie has been with his partner Catherine for around 22 years. They reconnected in London after university. Addressing their decision not to marry, Charlie told The Telegraph: "It's never been on either of our agendas." The couple have two teenage sons and left London about a decade ago.
Career and Advocacy
Charlie has worked with Jeremy Clarkson since 2009, long before the show began in 2021. He is also an ambassador for the Motor Neurone Disease Association after his father Christopher died from the condition in 2011 aged 67. Charlie regularly runs fundraisers for the MND Association and recently completed their New Year's challenge to run 31 miles in January.
