Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay reportedly took extreme security measures for their wedding at Bath Abbey on Saturday, with bodyguards and sniffer dogs present. The ceremony, followed by a reception at Kin House in Wiltshire, was attended by celebrities including the Beckhams, but Peaty's parents and brothers were absent due to an ongoing family feud.
Guests were given wristbands marked 'H&A', which one source described as making the event feel 'more like a hospital appointment'. The day was reportedly 'chaotic' as onlookers tried to glimpse attendees, with the Ramsay family's cars circling the church before they exited via a back door.
Peaty's brother James, previously arrested for allegedly sending threatening messages, posted a cryptic Instagram story showing himself and their mother outside Bath Abbey before deleting it. The couple's security measures included a protective ring around the bride and her family.
During his wedding speech, Gordon Ramsay reportedly made a dig at Peaty's absent parents, saying: 'Shame you don't have the same.' Peaty did not mention his family in his speech, instead praising his swim coach Mel Marshall. Peaty's estranged aunt Louise sent a scathing text accusing him of hurting his mother deeply.
