Chantelle Houghton, the only non-celebrity to win Celebrity Big Brother, is back in the spotlight as the reality show returns. Her famous victory in 2006, where she convinced housemates she was a member of fictional girl group Kandyfloss, will be featured on Monday's episode of Big Brother's Best Shows Ever on E4.
After winning, Houghton released an autobiography titled Living The Dream, which became the subject of jokes on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, prompting her then-husband Preston to storm off set. The couple married months after the show but separated within a year. Houghton later appeared in Ultimate Big Brother in 2010, where she had an awkward reunion with her ex-husband.
Now 36, Houghton is engaged to Michael Strutt, a friend of nine years. She has a daughter with Alex Reid, another Celebrity Big Brother winner, and previously dated TV presenter Rav Wilding. Houghton continues to describe herself as a reality TV star on her Instagram bio.
