Channel 4 Drops Documentary on Ibiza Final Boss Jack Kay

Channel 4 has released a new documentary exploring the rise of social media star Jack Kay, known as the Ibiza Final Boss. The 20-minute film, titled The Ibiza Final Boss: UNTOLD, is now available on the broadcaster's on-demand service.

The documentary follows Jack, a 26-year-old construction worker from Newcastle, who became a viral sensation this summer after an eight-second video of him dancing in Ibiza amassed millions of views on TikTok. His distinctive bowl cut and chunky chain made him instantly recognisable, leading to widespread fame and commercial interest.

The programme features Jack visiting his barber to maintain his iconic haircut, now described as one of the most famous in the world. It also includes an interview with his agent, Dave Reed, a top talent scout known for his work with The Only Way Is Essex. Reed says the media interest in Jack has surpassed anything he has seen in his 20-year career.

Cameras follow Jack as he returns to Ibiza to meet the man who filmed the original video, who now sells his own line of Ibiza Final Boss merchandise. The documentary explores the challenges of maintaining fame, with warnings about balancing partying with work opportunities.

Travel company On the Beach has already used Jack's image in a marketing campaign, featuring his haircut styled as a beach parasol with the slogan 'Face the Final Boss.' The documentary investigates how much money can be made from a spontaneous viral moment.
