Chanelle Hayes, the former Big Brother star, has announced she is leaving her nursing career to launch an OnlyFans page, but sources close to her say she fears the move could harm her marriage to accountant Dan Bingham.
The 38-year-old, who wed Bingham in 2024, told her Instagram followers: 'I think life is too short to not take a step just because it's controversial – so I stepped!' She promised subscribers 'the fun, flirty, and downright naughty stuff I can't post anywhere else' on her page, which costs $9.99 per month.
Despite her husband's apparent support, a source told the Mirror and new magazine: 'Chanelle is concerned that posing for sexy pictures will have an impact on her and Dan. Dan is supportive and just wants to see her happy, but she is still desperate to ensure her relationship isn't affected.'
Hayes, who earned a First Class Honours in Adult Nursing, had been working as a nurse for only a year before quitting. Another source revealed the emotional strain of nursing became too much: 'She found herself increasingly frustrated by the lack of time she could spend with patients. The emotional strain of not being able to give the level of care she wanted eventually became too much to bear.'
The source also cited financial reasons, saying: 'She absolutely adores being a nurse, but it doesn't pay. She could do with the money, and this is the way she could do it. It will probably be a lot less work than nursing.'
Hayes first rose to fame on Big Brother in 2007 and later attempted a pop career. She has two sons from previous relationships and married Dan Bingham last year after meeting just before lockdown.
