Chad Lowe's 13-year-old daughter Fiona has died, her family has confirmed. In a statement to People on Tuesday, the Lowe family wrote that they were 'deeply heartbroken' by the loss.
Fiona was described as 'smart, creative' and someone who 'loved to dance'. She was Chad's second daughter with Kim Painter and is survived by her parents and sisters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.
Family statement
'She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents,' the family wrote. 'In fact, she was the light of our lives. Her passing is devastating for our entire family, and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time.'
Fiona was born on November 16, 2012, to Chad and Kim and was the second daughter in the family.
Career and family
Chad, 58, is known for roles in Pretty Little Liars and Supergirl, and won an Emmy for Life Goes On. His older brother Rob Lowe has also starred in shows such as The Outsiders, St Elmo's Fire and Parks and Recreation.
The family also included details for the US 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for anyone struggling with their mental health.
