The Celebrity Traitors will return to BBC One and iPlayer later this year with its biggest celebrity cast to date, featuring 21 famous faces. Host Claudia Winkleman will welcome an eclectic mix of personalities, including BAFTA and BRIT award winners, social media stars, actors, comedians, and presenters, all vying for a cash prize of up to £100,000 for charity.
The series, produced by Studio Lambert Scotland, consists of 10 episodes. It has been commissioned by Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment Commissioning for the BBC, with executive producers Mike Cotton, Sarah Fay, Lewis Thurlow, and Katy Fox. Commissioning editors are Neil McCallum and Michael Jochnowitz.
Series one of The Celebrity Traitors, which debuted in October 2025, was a runaway success, averaging 14.9 million viewers across its run and peaking at 15.4 million for the finale. It became the top entertainment episode across the market since 2016 and the number one series across all genres and platforms in 2025.
The fourth series of The Traitors, which aired in January 2026, achieved a 12.5 million 28-day average, up 22% on series three. BBC iPlayer drove 53% of viewing, with 6.6 million viewers, a 28% increase on the previous series. The Celebrity Traitors series two will air later in 2026.
