The Celebrity Traitors "yawn" murder drew in a peak audience of 10.3 million.
An average of 10 million viewers tuned in to see EastEnders actor Ross Kemp murdered in plain sight during Thursday night's episode, which was the joint most watched of this series so far with a 59.9% audience share, according to the BBC.
Ratings Match Episode Three
It matched ratings for episode three, which saw actor Richard E Grant banished from the castle after he said he was a traitor mere moments after being chosen.
The trio of traitors, made up of Maya Jama, James Acaster and King Kenny, were tasked with killing one of their fellow contestants in plain sight by "boring them to death".
How the Murder Was Carried Out
To complete the murder they had to spray perfume in a room and encourage a faithful to yawn and therefore inhale the "poison".
It was Kemp who yawned first, with his fate sealed after Acaster said the words: "Sorry, am I boring you?"
Jerry Hall Banished
Although Jerry Hall made it out alive, she did not survive for long as she was banished by her fellow players at the roundtable.
The US supermodel received the most number of votes from her fellow players, who accused her of stirring the pot and acting chaotically.
Cliffhanger and Viewing Figures
The episode ended on a cliffhanger which saw the traitors narrow down their next victim to three players: comedians Romesh Ranganathan and Miranda Hart and actor Sebastian Croft.
The first episode of the series peaked with 9.1 million viewers and an average of 8.9 million, while the second peaked with 8.6 million and averaged 8.5 million.
The Celebrity Traitors continues on Friday at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
