The Celebrity Traitors Series 2 Reveals Record Celebrity Line-Up

The Celebrity Traitors is set to return to BBC One and iPlayer later this year with its biggest ever celebrity cast. Host Claudia Winkleman will welcome 21 famous faces to the Traitors castle, where they will compete in the ultimate game of deception and betrayal for a cash prize of up to £100,000 to be donated to a charity of their choice.

The eclectic line-up spans BAFTA and BRIT award winners, social media stars, and beloved actors, comedians, and presenters. The series, produced by Studio Lambert Scotland, will consist of ten 60-minute episodes. Executive producers include Mike Cotton, Sarah Fay, Lewis Thurlow, and Katy Fox.

Series one, which debuted in October 2025, was a runaway success, averaging 14.9 million viewers across its run, with a peak of 15.4 million for the finale. It became the top entertainment episode across the whole market since 2016 and the number one series across all genres and platforms in 2025.

The commission was overseen by Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment Commissioning for the BBC, with Neil McCallum and Michael Jochnowitz serving as commissioning editors. The Traitors format was originally created by IDTV and RTL Creative Unit.
