The full celebrity line-up for the fourth series of Celebrity Race Across the World has been revealed, with Princess and Junior Andre, Sam Ryder and Ella Eyre among the stars taking part.
The four teams will leave their phones, credit cards and home comforts behind as they attempt to be the first to reach the finish line using only local transport, a map and a budget of £26 per person per day.
Who is competing?
Princess Andre, daughter of former glamour model Katie Price and singer Peter Andre, will take part alongside her younger brother Junior Andre. Junior is a musician who has followed in his father's footsteps, while Princess has built a profile as a social media personality and influencer.
Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter Ella Eyre will compete alongside her childhood friend Nana. Eyre is best known for hits including Waiting All Night with Rudimental and Gravity, and has previously performed at some of the UK's biggest music festivals.
More stars in the line-up
Veteran sports broadcaster Jeff Stelling will take on the challenge with his son Matt. Stelling is best known for his long-running career presenting football coverage, particularly his time as the face of Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday.
Singer-songwriter Sam Ryder will compete alongside his best friend and tour manager Kaz Coles. Ryder shot to fame after representing the UK at Eurovision in 2022, finishing second with his hit song Space Man. He has since released his debut album and continued to tour and perform across the UK.
Route and start date
The teams will set off from Kuching, Malaysia, before travelling across three countries and two continents on their 7,500km journey to the southern tip of Australia and the finish line in Melbourne.
Tim Harcourt, chief creative officer of production company Studio Lambert, said: “This year's pairs navigate a journey that lays bare two extremes of today's world.”
“We can't wait to share how they get on. Contestants give unfiltered and honest reactions to the experiences they face that are as demanding as they are joyful. That's so rare on television and it's clear audiences love seeing their favourite stars deal with these daring challenges in spectacular worlds.”
The series will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer this autumn, while Race Across the World will return to BBC One and iPlayer next spring.
