Deeley, who co-hosts the show with Ben Shephard, explained in 2020 that her wedding ring originally belonged to her grandmother, inscribed 'Lil and Jim 1942.' She said her grandfather likely obtained it from under the counter due to gold shortages after the war. The ring holds deep sentimental value for the presenter.
Deeley married Patrick Kielty, host of RTÉ's The Late Late Show, in a private ceremony in Rome in 2012. The couple have two sons, Milo, nine, and James, six, whom they keep out of the public eye. Earlier this week, they announced their separation after 13 years of marriage, stating in a joint statement that they remain united as loving parents and requesting privacy.
