Cat Deeley marked her son James's fifth birthday with a special announcement: her children's book, The Joy in You, is now available in Spanish. The television presenter shared a video from her back garden, surrounded by balloons, wearing a daring denim jacket over a white shirt and baggy trousers. Her blonde hair flowed loose as she delivered the news, with James playfully hiding his face behind the book.
In the caption, Deeley wrote: "Jumping 'for joy' because 'The Joy in You' is now available en español!" Fans were left speechless, responding only with heart emojis and birthday wishes for the five-year-old.
The mother of two – she and husband Patrick Kielty also have son Milo – recently surprised followers with a transformation video showing the couple from their early days hosting Fame Academy to a recent red carpet snap. Deeley captioned it: "A blink of an eye and here we are!!" Fans noted the chemistry that sparked two decades ago, with one writing: "Still obsessed that you ended up together tbh."
The couple married in Rome in 2012. Reflecting on their first date, Deeley recalled Kielty flying from Ireland to Los Angeles for her birthday brunch after a late-night phone call. “It knocked my socks off a little bit!” she said.
After 14 years in Los Angeles, they returned to the UK in 2020, citing family and friends as the main reason. Deeley acknowledged that America's gun culture was not the primary factor but “one of the reasons and quite possibly a catalyst.”
