Cat Deeley was seen without her wedding ring as she stepped out in London following her shock split from husband Patrick Kielty. The This Morning host, 48, removed the diamond band while running errands near the couple's former marital home.
Deeley opted for a casual yet stylish look, wearing a white shirt with blue denim high-waisted flares, gold-rimmed aviator shades, tan sandals, and a brown faux leather tote bag. The missing ring was a pointed gesture symbolising her new life chapter.
The couple, who share sons Milo, seven, and James, five, announced their separation on July 29, stating: 'We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.' They asked for privacy and said no further comment would be made.
Deeley has been on summer break from This Morning since the announcement. A source told Mail Plus that the timing was deliberate: 'There will be literally six weeks between Cat’s break-up announcement and her returning to work. Imagine if she had been on screen when it broke?' She is expected back on the show on 1 September.
The pair met while hosting BBC's Fame Academy in 2002 and married in Rome in 2012. Reports suggest their busy schedules — Deeley co-hosts This Morning, while Kielty presents RTÉ's The Late Late Show — drove a wedge between them.
