Cat Deeley has turned 50. The This Morning presenter is marking her milestone birthday on Friday, October 23, and has shared her refreshingly simple approach to ageing, telling Grazia: 'The fact that you're here and enjoying life – gaining experiences while being happy and healthy. Wow. That, to me, is amazing.'
No Secret Formula, Just Healthy Habits
Despite her youthful appearance, Deeley insists there is no obscure treatment behind it. Her routine involves yoga, walking, tennis, and a Mediterranean diet. While living in Los Angeles, she enjoyed a daily 20-minute hike in the sunshine, but since returning to Britain, where sunshine is less reliable, she has adapted.
She practises yoga, something she has done for two decades. 'I've been doing yoga for 20 years and I truly love it,' she explained. 'It switches off my brain and helps me breathe.' She noted she is 'no more bendy than the average person', but the practice helps quieten her racing thoughts.
Family, Diet, and a New Romance
Deeley also plays tennis with her sons Milo, 10, and James, eight, whom she shares with ex-husband Patrick Kielty. On diet, she said: 'I like a little bit of everything – predominantly fruits and vegetables and a bit of protein – but I love French bread, red wine and a coffee.'
Her fun side remains evident: earlier this summer she mowed her lawn in a black bikini to Chamillionaire's Ridin'. She has also been spotted getting cosy with movie executive Charlie Coleman at Lewis Capaldi's BST Hyde Park show in July, following her split from Kielty.
