Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty Separate After 13 Years of Marriage

TV presenter Cat Deeley and comedian Patrick Kielty have announced their separation after 13 years of marriage. The couple, who met while hosting Fame Academy in 2002, released a joint statement confirming they have decided to end their marriage, insisting no third party is involved.

The announcement comes after the pair were increasingly living separate lives. They were last photographed together in September 2023 at the London premiere of Ballywalter, and Deeley's social media featured Kielty for the final time a month later. Deeley also did not post a Father's Day message for Kielty in June.

In their statement, the ex-couple said they will continue to be "united as loving parents" to their two sons. They moved their family from Los Angeles to London in 2023. Deeley missed the funeral of Kielty's mother in March this year, with a spokesperson saying she stayed home to care for their children.

The pair first appeared publicly as a couple in 2011 and married in Rome in September 2012. Deeley had previously spoken about the challenges of balancing motherhood and her presenting career on This Morning, describing the "juggle" as "real."

Kielty, host of RTÉ's The Late Late Show, and Deeley have asked for privacy as they navigate their separation.
