Cat Deeley has turned 50, marking the milestone with her two sons and a steak dinner, as revealed on Thursday's This Morning. The presenter, who has hosted the ITV daytime show with Ben Shephard since 2024, is navigating a new decade that includes a rumoured romance, a major home renovation, and continued co-parenting after her split from Patrick Kielty.
A Career Spanning Decades
Before joining This Morning, Deeley built her fame through modelling and children's television. In the 1990s and early 2000s, she worked on SMTV Live with Ant and Dec, Stars in their Eyes, and So You Think You Can Dance. Now, from Monday to Thursday, her mornings are spent at ITV studios, interviewing guests, discussing the day's news, and taking viewer calls.
New Romance and Co-Parenting
Deeley married comedian Patrick Kielty in 2012, and the couple had two sons, Milo, 10, and James, eight. They split in July 2025, with both releasing a statement emphasising that no third party was involved and that their focus remains on their children. Deeley told The Sunday Times that they co-parent "50-50," adding: "It's about being as organised as you can possibly be. I have an amazing nanny too," and "Everybody's doing their best."
A year after the split, Deeley was linked to Charlie Coleman, a senior marketing executive at Amazon MGM Studios, after they were seen together at BST Hyde Park watching Lewis Capaldi. Neither has confirmed the relationship, though they were reported to have been affectionate.
House Renovation and a New Start
After the split, Deeley moved to a new home and began a major renovation. She told Closer: "I'm doing a big renovation, which is a massive project, and my brother is helping me do it." She added: "I like doing things that scare me a little bit. I always feel like if an opportunity comes up or there's something life-changing that you want to do, if you feel a little bit scared and you're approaching it with a little trepidation, then you should probably do it."
The couple's former home, a derelict 1950s property in Hampstead they reportedly bought for £4.9 million, also underwent redevelopment, with plans to make it their forever home. The renovation was put on hold after the split, and the property is now listed for £5 million.
Birthday Plans
On This Morning, Deeley shared her birthday plans, starting with a theatre trip for Jesse Tyler Ferguson's birthday. She said: "Tonight I'm going to the theatre because it's Jesse Tyler Ferguson's birthday, actually and all his family are over. So I'm going to see True and then take him out for his birthday." She then described a family dinner and a trip with friends: "Boys, family. We're actually doing steak so yes, yes, yes. We're going to do dinner there and then girls' trip to Ibiza just for a few days."
