Cassie Ventura has made her return to social media for the first time since giving birth and testifying against her former partner Sean 'Diddy' Combs. The 38-year-old singer posted to her Instagram story on Thursday night, sharing a video of a man dancing with the caption: 'When your old self slowly starts coming out postpartum.'
Ventura gave birth to her third child with husband Alex Fine at the end of May 2025, just days after testifying in Combs' trial. According to TMZ, she was rushed to hospital and delivered slightly earlier than planned, but both mother and baby are healthy. The couple have not yet revealed the name of their two-month-old son.
Combs, 55, was found guilty of transporting Ventura for prostitution after a two-month trial. He was acquitted on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. Ventura had filed a lawsuit against Combs in 2023, alleging a prolonged campaign of abuse, and was awarded a $20 million settlement after a 2016 video surfaced showing him grabbing and beating her in a hotel hallway.
Ventura and Fine began dating in 2018, around the time she split from Combs, and married in 2019. They have two other children: Frankie, five, and Sunny, four. Following the trial, Fine shared a message of support, praising his wife's strength and bravery in freeing herself from her past.
