Cameron Diaz Spotted with Daughter Raddix in Rare Outing Ahead of Acting Return

Cameron Diaz was seen with her two-year-old daughter Raddix on Sunday in Los Angeles, running errands together. The rare sighting comes as the actress prepares to end her retirement from acting.

The 49-year-old wore a loose black ankle-length dress and khaki sandals, pushing a supermarket trolley with Raddix seated inside. The toddler wore a yellow patterned onesie and pink Crocs. They were accompanied by Diaz's husband, Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, 43.

Diaz, who last appeared in a film in 2014, recently announced plans to return to acting in a new Netflix comedy with Jamie Foxx. The pair previously co-starred in 1999's Any Given Sunday and 2014's Annie remake, which was presumed to be her final film.

Speaking to People, a source revealed that Madden encouraged his wife to 'un-retire', saying he 'is very excited' for her. The insider added that the upcoming project is 'the perfect movie project' for her return, as she 'worked with Jamie in the past and had a blast'.

Jamie Foxx, 54, announced the news on Twitter, sharing a recording of a call with Diaz and Tom Brady. He wrote: 'Cameron I hope you aren't mad I recorded this, but no turning back now. @CameronDiaz and I are BACK IN ACTION – our new movie with @NetflixFilm. Production starting later this year!!'
